CoveyTerms of Service
By using Covey, you agree to these terms. If you use Covey for a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business.
1. Covey service
Covey provides restaurant-owner tools for account setup, menu drafts, public ordering pages, QR/widget links, payment confirmation workflows, customer communications, and billing/card verification. Features may be free, trial, private beta, or paid depending on the plan or written agreement.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 and provide accurate account and restaurant information. You are responsible for protecting login credentials and for activity under your account, including activity by employees or helpers you authorize.
3. Google/email login and Stripe verification
Users may sign up with email/password or Google OAuth. Full owner tools may require restaurant details and Stripe card verification. Card verification does not mean the user created a Stripe merchant account. Stripe merchant or connected-account features may be offered separately later.
4. Restaurant and customer responsibilities
You are responsible for menu accuracy, pricing, taxes, customer service, fulfillment, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, food safety, licensing, disclosures, and compliance with laws that apply to your business.
5. Payments
Stripe or other payment processors may handle card verification, billing, payment links, or payment processing. You agree to comply with their terms. Covey is not a bank and does not guarantee settlement, reversals, refunds, disputes, processor uptime, or chargeback results.
6. Customer communications
You are responsible for required consent before sending texts, emails, WhatsApp messages, order alerts, promotional messages, or automated replies. You must comply with applicable laws including CAN-SPAM, TCPA where applicable, privacy laws, and platform policies.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Covey for fraud, spam, impersonation, unauthorized access, unlawful content, malware, scraping without authorization, privacy violations, platform-rule circumvention, or harmful activity. The Acceptable Use page is incorporated into these terms.
8. Disclaimers and liability
Covey is provided as is and as available. We do not promise uninterrupted service, error-free outputs, specific revenue, ranking, conversion, payment, or business results. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Service Pricer LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, lost-profit, lost-data, missed-order, chargeback, or business-interruption damages.
9. Changes
We may update these terms as features, laws, providers, or business needs change. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
